We can pick up boats in all states.

Process

Fill out a quick form with a few details and photos of your boat. We list and market it, handle all the inquiries, and find a buyer. We handle all the inquiries from interested buyers, and your personal information stays private.

For boats that are new or in great condition, we can arrange a pickup before the sale. For all other boats, we list your boat and the buyer picks it up right where it's docked.

Once your boat sells, we’ll send you the documentation for your tax deduction, along with a vacation voucher.

No! Just clean the boat of any personal belongings and leave the keys and title in the glove box.

Title

Most states require a title for the boat.
If necessary, we may be able to assist you in replacing it.

When signing your title, please make certain that you print and sign your name as the "Seller" in EXACTLY the way it appears on the face of the title.

Tax Deduction

You will receive a tax deduction for the amount the boat sells for.
If the boat sells for under $500, you will receive the value of the boat up to $500.

Kars4kids is a classified 501(c)(3) charity organization. You can check with your tax advisor or accountant to determine the amount of your benefit. The deduction is of value only if the donor itemizes his or her deductions.

For a more detailed overview the IRS publishes a Donors Guide to Vehicle Donation.
